PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am a Distinction-average, final-year Bachelor of Education (Secondary) student, majoring in Visual Arts Education and minoring in Design and Technology Education. My professional experiences at Aquinas College and Wesley College have developed my ability to plan and deliver engaging learning across Years 5–12, manage creative and practical classrooms, and differentiate instruction for students with diverse strengths and learning needs.
I bring extensive experience in vocational education, creative-industry practice and business leadership as a qualified hairdresser, specialist makeup artist, theatrical creative, educator and former salon owner. I can also contribute to exhibitions, school productions, character design, theatrical hair and makeup, wig-making, costume construction and creative events. I am committed to creating safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environments in which students develop technical competence, creative confidence and independent thinking.

VISUAL ARTS

• Specialised in creative hairdressing, specialist makeup, editorial styling and runway production, producing complete visual looks for fashion, events, weddings and private clients.

• Directed editorial imagery, advertising and promotional projects while collaborating with photographers, models, designers, clients and other creative professionals.

• Managed staff rosters, payroll, accounts, procurement, stock control, client scheduling, workplace safety and profit-and-loss responsibilities.

• Sold the original salon at the end of 2019 and transitioned Concrete Blonde into a smaller independent studio, operating as a sole practitioner until 2024 and subsequently as a freelance creative practice until 2026.

• Developed leadership, mentoring, organisation, problem-solving and creative-production capabilities directly transferable to classroom teaching, school productions and community engagement.
