About

I am a final-year Bachelor of Education (Secondary) student at Edith Cowan University, specialising in Visual Arts and Design & Technologies.

With a Distinction course average and professional teaching experience across Years 5–12, I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments where students can develop technical competence, creative confidence and independent thinking.

My teaching practice spans Visual Arts, woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, photography and visual communication. I use explicit demonstrations, visual exemplars, scaffolded processes and practical experimentation to support students with varied strengths, experiences and learning needs.

Before entering secondary education, I worked extensively across vocational education, business ownership and the creative industries. My professional background in editorial and runway production, specialist makeup, theatrical styling, wig-making, sewing and character development also enables me to contribute meaningfully to exhibitions, school productions, arts festivals and interdisciplinary creative programs.

This portfolio presents selected examples of my teaching practice, curriculum development, personal creative work and specialist industry capabilities.
