Creative Practice

My creative practice spans Visual Arts, Design & Technologies, media, time-based art and more than two decades of professional work across hairdressing, specialist makeup, editorial, runway, theatre and creative production. Together, these areas reflect my interest in materials, technical development, visual storytelling, character and the process of transforming an idea into a resolved outcome.

Maintaining an active and diverse creative practice strengthens my work as an educator. It allows me to teach from direct experience, demonstrate authentic creative and technical processes, and connect classroom learning with professional applications across the Arts, Design, Media and performance.

The following collections present selected examples of my university, personal and professional creative work.
